tablas island, romblon

tablas island reminds me that...
life can be made simpler...people in tablas would usually sleep as early as 7 in the evening and wake up as early...they go fishing my means of a sailboat...well most of them use sailboats although others are using motorboat...they rely on whatever catch they have for the day for viand...you see they do not have to worry about filling out pds, income tax return, or things like that...they can eat 3 times a day without worrying that much...
that we can live side by side with nature...in tablas, you can see different group of people from dawn to evening swimming in the beach...the place is residential in the entire stretch of beach but it is very clean...people from all walks of life go there to take a bath...the place is only 100 metres away from the pier yet it is clean unlike other piers i have gone to...the folks would usually call it a day after they have watched the sun set...

iloilo airport: under construction

this is the second time in my life that i am grateful of my japanese look...my looks served as a ticket in going to iloilo airport of international standard in santa barbara, iloilo...my friend's niece who is working there brought me there upon my request...she allowed me to roam around the complex all by myself although she knew that i am a visitor...while taking pictures in the airport, the people were all greeting and smiling at me...when i came back, she told me that they (the workers) have probably mistaken me as one of their japanese bosses...i really find this incident amusing...

here are the pictures i took...at first i could not believe what i saw because i have seen this place before the construction began...i used to pass this place when i go to tita sabel's place...

this picture reminds me of the sets in encantadia or mulawin tv series...

this is the proposed arrival/departure area...
